About the book..the author..and the true story

The story: "She gave smoke and mirrors; theater and illusions; these book pages are now her stage. Here, she’ll dance forever and forever; with every new pair of eyes, the charade begins all over again; just like it did in real life."

"This story was given to me by the grace of the devil.  It mirrors my own experiences, which is why it holds such a deep place in my heart
Writing it has been cathartic; as if I lived it myself.

It is not fiction. It was lived; by a man who once claimed to love a woman named Lola.
The story bleeds real blood and left permanent scars.

What amazes me is its uncanny resemblance to Baudelaire and Jeanne Duval;
the relationship between the pioneer of "poésie décadente" and the courtesan.

Maybe this is the last true decadent love story; in its purest form, depicted in the most beautifully ruinous way

And I’ll do everything in my power to do it justice.

But this isn’t about my writing, or about being an author. It's about the story

I wrote it because it deserves to exist; violent, romantic, tender, obsessive, and unapologetically hot.

Because in an age where love gets recycled too fast,
where people swipe past faces like everything tastes the same; this smelled different.
It was slow. Honest in its deceptiveness.

Every inch of skin was memorized. Every wound was kissed.
It’s a deep dive into the soul; into trauma, into demons;
and learning not just to live with them, but maybe to make love to them.

He dared to look at what no one else could see; and if they had, they probably would’ve left.
And she probably knew that.

But what can’t see you as you are isn’t for you.
She tried so hard not to be seen though.

She was always only adored not understood.Never learning genuine intimacy.

Together they accepted honest lies instead of fake perfection.
And the longing… longing is the most beautiful, honest, romantic truth of all.

It’s not just a book or a screenplay; it’s a whole world, with music.
That’s why; "Fuck fairytales. Gimme scars."

You’ll love them. You’ll hate them.
You’ll see yourself in them; though you’ll never admit it out loud.

I know it’ll take you for a ride; tears, laughter, hard-ons, and butterflies in between.

It’s a secret you don’t wanna stop eavesdropping on.

Turn off the dating shows and let it take you under,
you’ll find it’s not crowded here.
It’s deep. It’s dark.
I’ll see you at the bottom.
